Making Wi-Fi Settings from the Control Panel

Choose the connection method that matches the environment and conditions that you are using:

1. Making Wi-Fi settings by Entering the SSID and Password

   1. Tap the icon on the home screen

   2. 

   3. Select Router
   4. Tap Start Setup
   5. Select Wi-Fi Setup Wizard
   6. Follow the on-screen instructions to select SSID, enter the password for the wireless router, and start setup.

2. Making Wi-Fi settings by Push Button Setup (WPS)

   1. Tap the icon on the home screen

   2. 

   3. Select Router
   4. Tap Start Setup
   5. Select Push Button Setup (WPS)
   6. Follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Making Wi-Fi settings by PIN Code Setup (WPS)

   1. Tap the icon on the home screen

   2. 

   3. Select Router
   4. Tap Start Setup
   5. Select Others > PIN Code Setup (WPS)
   6. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Connecting by Wi-Fi Direct

1. Connecting to an iPhone, iPad, or iPad touch using Wi-Fi Direct

   1. Tap the icon on the home screen

   2. 

   3. Tap Wi-Fi Direct
   4. Tap Start Setup
   5. Tap iOS

   6. 

   7. Scan the QR code displayed after you tap iOS with your iPhone, then click Join

   8. 

   9. Start Epson printing app

   10. 

   11. On the printing app screen, tap Printer is not selected. Select the printer you want to connect to

2. Connecting to Android Devices using Wi-Fi Direct

   1. Tap the icon on the home screen

   2. 

   3. Tap Wi-Fi Direct
   4. Tap Start Setup
   5. Tap Android

   6. 

   7. On the smart device, start Epson iPrint

   8. 

   9. On the printing app screen, tap Printer is not selected. Select the printer you want to connect to

3. Connecting to Devices other than iOS and Android using Wi-Fi Direct

   1. Tap the icon on the home screen

   2. 

   3. Tap Wi-Fi Direct
   4. Tap Start Setup
   5. Tap Other OS Devices

   6. 

   7. On the smart device’s Wi-Fi screen, select the SSID shown on the printer panel and enter its password
   8. On the smart device, start Epson Printing app

   9. 

   10. On the printing app screen, tap Printer is not selected. Select the printer you want to connect to

Install the driver link to driver page on C878/9 printer

Now you are ready to install the driver on your computer, go to Epson C878/9R page here

Under the Downloads tab, click the Driver (v3.02.01) for the latest version of printer driver for Epson C87xR printer and click the “Download” button.

Double-click the downloaded exe driver file. It will be decompressed, and the Setup screen will be displayed.
