Formatting Printer Settings to Banner 70 cm size Epson C878 printer

It is important that your printer is set optimally in order to get the best print quality and longest durability.

Always use original Epson consumables. If you buy them from us, you are sure of the quality.

Always use the printer driver that includes PCL support for labels, signs, and banners.

We recommend the following settings for your Epson C878 printers:

Size: 297 x 700 mm

Source: Papirskuff

Outdata: 297 x 700 mm

Weight: Thick paper 2

Follow these steps on how to set up 297 x 700 mm banner size for your Epson printer:

1. On Windows Start, search for “Settings” and go the “Settings” > “Devices”
2. Go to “Printers & scanners” (“Skrivere og skannere”)

3. Find your printer / printer driver and click it to open manage options . In this example, my printer's name is an “EPSON Banner 70cm”.

4. (Optional) You can change the printer name to know immediately what printers you are working on. From my printer “EPSON Banner 70cm”, click “Printer properties” (“Skriveregenskaper”), under the “General” tab change the name of your printer, then click “OK”.

5. Go back to “Printer & scanners” settings, as you can see the printer you renamed and click the printer.
6. Go to “Printing preferences”  to set the paper size for your printer

7. Set the “Size” ("Papirstorrelese"), “Source” ("Papirkilde"), “Outdata” ("Utdatapapir"), and “Weight” ("Papirtype") of media for printing to use on the printer. After you set the printer settings that you want and hit “OK”

8. To set color correction on the printer driver click the “More options” (‘Flere alternativer“) tab. Set the “Color correction” (“Fargekorrigering”) to “Egendef” and click “Avansert”

9. A pop-up window will appear, set “ICM” on Fargekorrigering and hit “OK” And your printer is ready to go.

To set custom size for Epson 297 x 700 mm

1. On the paper size format (“Papirstorrelse”), click the drop-down arrow and choose “Custom size” (“Brukerdefinert”)

2. You can set many predefined formats for later use. Put a name on the predefined format size, set the paper width (“Papirbredde”), paper height (“Papirhoyde”), and its units “Enhet”. After setting your paper width, paper height and its format custom size name, click “OK”
